Diana Tao is a landscape designer and has a Masters in Landscape Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Diana is interested in the social intersection of urban civic spaces, as it speaks to the idea of placemaking, local systems and revitalizing urban culture. As a native New Yorker, Diana finds that the most meaningful and rewarding experiences come from working within her hometown and watching these urban spaces flourish over time. Prior to joining Nancy Owens Studio, she has worked at a variety of scales, from campus planning to Rebuild by Design projects in New York. Beyond academia and internship experience, Diana has worked on collaborative exhibitions and published work, recognized by Platform, Masks the Journal, and the Urban Design Forum.
